Two players formed in the quarry of Betis, Redru and Aitor Ruibal, were transferred in the final stretch of the season to two teams that fought to move up to Second Division, Elche and Cartagena, respectively, having an unequal result in each case.
The first of them, despite not having many minutes in his stay in the ilicitano, has managed to climb to the silver category of Spanish football. Something that comes with ‘prize’ as it has been guaranteed to continue one more season in Elche, as stipulated in the assignment contract. In any case, everything will be pending a conversation between the clubs precisely because of that lack of minutes from the Betis youth squad.
In contrast, Aitor has had many minutes with Cartagena but has been without promotion because his team could not match Extremadura and will continue to play next year in Segunda B.
The striker, who has opened this course with Quique Setién in the first team from Verdiblanco, will return to the entity of La Palmera. Redru, on the other hand, had also had his minutes with Betis in the tie against Cádiz.
